Weekly Wrap-up.

Saturday, January 19th, 2008

The carpet cleaning turned out very well.¬† At first we were a little apprehensive about having every carpeted room done in the same day but it worked out OK.¬† The bedroom is squeaky clean and the office couldn’t get much better than it currently is.¬† I was very surprised with the way the living room worked out.¬† All pet stains and most odors (thanks to their deodorizing treatment) are gone.¬† Of course we left the dogs out of the room for a while until things dried up.¬† Unfortunately Princess is still pooping on the floor but when you’re 10 years old and trained to do everything in-house, you just don’t know any better.¬† At least there hasn’t been any urine on the floor, that acid in urine really is what kills the carpet to begin with.¬† So either way it worked out well and it was nice to see what this carpet looked like in a “brand new” state.

Sean and I have done pretty good this week,¬† something has sparked in us that has brought us out of the fighting slump and closer together to the point that we’re constantly joking around with each other and there’s no major frustration between us.¬† It’s not that we were having “trouble”, it’s just that current situations have been taking their toll on us. Luckily we’re over it now and things are great.

I’ve been hitting the bricks for a job in the area, I believe I came across an absolutely perfect one today that I found while surfing the web.¬† Maybe something good will come from it.¬† My main concern is reaching my goals by the end of the year and I’m confident that’ll happen if I’m hired by this employer.¬† The loan will be paid off, a car will be purchased and maybe a shiny new apartment is in the mix as well.

While I’m itching to get back to school, I’m thinking of holding off until the end of the year.¬† Since I’m under 24 and not living at home, even though my father is no longer responsible for me financially, I’d have to include him on the financial aid forms, unless I go towards a bachelors degree.¬† Up until recently I’ve decided upon DeVry and since that’s an associates my financial aid would be based on his income and since he makes like $65,000 a year, I doubt I’d really get anything covered by FAFSA.¬† So I’ll look into other routes and hopefully something will spring up.¬† I do know that I can hold off for a while, getting bills in order is more important to me right now anyway.

With my downtime I’ve been floating around the different dealerships in the general area.¬† I’m giving myself a $10,000 max budget on a car because spending anything more than that just to get me back and forth from work would be completely absurd.¬† Naturally this means I’m looking into a used car but I also find no point in owning a brand new one either.¬† Anything I can get from a dealership down here will be covered under whatever Warranty they happen to have, and that’s all that’s important to me at this point in time.¬† I’m sticking to Chevy though, it’s kind of a family tradition.¬† My father has owned them for years (even though he currently has a Jeep), my sister has a Chevy, my mother, step-father and lord knows who else, even Sean has one.¬† So to stay with it I’ve been looking into the Malibu or the Cobalt.¬† I have to say that the 2008 Malibu is absolutely gorgeous, but the price tag isn’t that attractive to me at this point in time – heh.

Anyhoo, it’s about 1:30 and I need to get myself ready for bed.¬† Time to take a quick shower, brush my teeth and curl up in bed with any random book I pull off the shelves until I fall asleep.

I’m done…

Saturday, December 1st, 2007

It’s only December 1st but I’m basically finished as far as Christmas is concerned.¬† There are a few more items that are currently being shipped to me but I figure everything will be here over the course of the next 20 days or so, so it’s really not a big deal.

On Monday I took a trip up to the Mall to get some odds and ends done, everyone in the family is covered.¬† As usual I went over budget but for the past few years my holiday budget has been in the $2,000 range anyway so it’s really not that big of a spike.¬† I’m supposed to be going 50/50 on a gift for my father with my sister but she doesn’t have any money and I’m not going to add to that bill considering I already dropped about $600 on a computer and monitor for him.¬† I’m sure something will pan out but honestly, I’d rather just throw some clothes on to the gifts I already got him and then leave it at that.¬† I know it’s something that he needs but I already went overboard, the extra $1,000 would just be too extreme for me this month.

I haven’t gotten much work done over the course of the last few weeks but I’ve been running around doing everything else, so since I’m done with all of the holiday shopping I now am going to spend the next 30-days getting the Christmas money put back into the bank account.¬† I’m sure I’ll be able to do it, there’s no major concern there it’s just going to be a pain in the ass trying to keep up with everything.

Come January I’ll be in search for a job outside of the house, it’s not even about money at this point it’s more about sanity mixed with a need for medical insurance.¬† I figure if I can find some design company down here, or even a retail job at this point, I’ll be better off.¬† I’ll have the double income so that’ll help me out in the long run.¬† Sean and I are hoping to move out as soon as possible so having a job on the books, instead of just what I can claim on a tax-season basis should help us out towards a mortgage.

Mobile Marketing at all time high

Thursday, October 11th, 2007

PPPWith the rise in mobile technology, there’s no surprise that the demand for mobile marketing software is also at an all time high. Everyone with a PDA or other variation of a mobile device is using it to surf the Internet. If it’s just a quick email check or surfing the web to find out the latest news, or even stock options, there’s no doubt that PDA’s and other mobile PCs are going to take the world over by storm.

I’m currently in the process of developing a WordPress plugin that works along side WordPress giving PDA users the ability to access a specialized control panel so that they have the same functionality with the WordPress panel as one would have accessing it on a computer based browser. As of right now I only know of a plugin that converts your weblog to a basic feed via the iPhone browser. However, some smart phones include full browsers that allow you to do everything you could on a standard computer. The problem with the current WordPress administration panel is the amount of links and other options that are included in the administration panel. This makes it hard for a user to easily navigate the program when it’s loaded via a smart phone. So changing the template around via a plugin would make things a bit easier to use. I believe this is called WAP Site Design, based on everything I’ve heard of it at least.

Now this is mainly for blog options but mobile marketing has a pretty solid ground in the industry so working with a company like golivemobile.com, or any other company that specializes in mobile marketing, would be a great route to take if you’re interested in getting into the SMS and MMS world. There are numerous TV shows that require you to send in a text message and then you’re involved in the show. I know of one on G4 but I’m forgetting the name right now. But you’re chosen at random (if you submit your number, naturally) and then you’re in the drawing for numerous prize amounts if you can guess the word, find the square, whatever it is they want you to do.

Some things may seem very simple, but once you really start looking into them – the work behind a simple text message can seriously be mind blowing.

I’m having trouble waiting for this one…

Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007

It’s been a pretty long day.¬† I woke up a lot later than I intended to but I’ve managed to put in a solid six hours of work so far, so I assume that counts for something.¬† Monthly earnings, thus far, have me in the $300 range so if I can keep up with it I’ll have another $3,000 month – before any design work kicks in for me.¬† I’ve been putting in some bids on GAF to make up for the slack of last month.¬† I went through a few weeks where I just wasn’t doing too well so hopefully this will resolve itself, financially, over the course of the next few days.¬† I’m still not feeling very well but I want to assume this is due to the weather change.¬† I don’t feel a cold coming on, but my body kind of feels as though it’s eventually going to crap out on me.¬† I have antibiotics and aspirin on hand in case something big blows up.¬† Stress may be the cause of it, lord knows how bad my back has been acting up because of it.

We’re leaving for New York on Friday around 6.¬† If we can avoid any major traffic we should be there by 11 (midnight at the latest) so I can take a much needed nap and then head out to the bank on Saturday morning with my father.¬† I’m have to call him tomorrow to verify plans, I’m just patiently waiting for the HSBC letter to show up for me.¬† If it’s not here by Friday – I don’t know what I’m going to do.¬† 7-10 days takes a lot longer when you’re anticipating something so heavily.

I figure on Sunday I’ll go to Breakfast with my father since we’re leaving on Sunday night.¬† Originally we were going to go to dinner but we have to get back down here before Monday morning so there really isn’t much of a choice there.

I’ll be booking the room for A.C. on Saturday as well.¬† I figure if I’m up there the same weekend as my father we can at least have dinner together there.¬† I have a few comps for buffets in almost all of the hotels so I’m sure something will work out.¬† Sean has one, I have one and my father has one but each comp covers two people.¬† So whoever winds up tagging along is covered – basically.

In any event, I could put in another four hours – maybe it’ll keep my mind off things.

Outage

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

For those of you located under the ns1.acidgloss.net and ns2.acidgloss.net nameservers, the following post is in regards to you.

The servers have been successfully transferred, with this transfer the downtime we’re experiencing is the IP address changes. Please make sure your DNS reads as the following:

ns1.acidgloss.net – 72.52.224.206
ns2.acidgloss.net – 72.52.224.207

Note, you do not have to use the IP addresses. If you do, then make sure to update them to those addresses ASAP. Once the IP’s verify, all accounts should be back up and running with out any issues what-so-ever. This move has been made due to the excessive downtime and server outages experienced over the course of the last month. It should resolve everything.

Uninstalling, Reinstalling, and still not getting anywhere.

Wednesday, August 29th, 2007

I’m not too sure what’s going on with email at the moment. Anything going through the server doesn’t seem to make it to the recipient and on top of that, anything going through Gmail doesn’t seem to do it either. At this point, knowing full well that Gmail isn’t that faulty, I think I’m having some trouble with Thunderbird because that seems to be the only option at the moment. I’m going to just log directly into the send mail and see if things work from there, if they do then I may have to reinstall Thunderbird because that’s the only option at this point. I’ve been looking into new a new Mailing Lists Company as well, the mailing list I’m working with now isn’t working out that great for me either. It’s like some outside force doesn’t want me doing anything. I know that I need a vacation but being unable to contact people just adds more stress to the situation.

Sleep Sucks!

Sunday, August 26th, 2007

I’ve been taking antibiotics for a few days now, so it’s no surprise that I’ve been sleeping for more than 12 hours a night. This is something that I absolutely HATE considering I like doing 16 hours of work then 8 hours of sleep. So cutting my work-day down by four hours has me feeling as though I’m missing out on a lot of shit with ‘rush jobs’. I should be resting, I’m aware of this. I just can’t sit and do nothing because it drives me crazy to just lay down and let hours pass where absolutely nothing is being accomplished.

I woke up today to find out that there’s the chance of having company on Tuesday. So I instantly looked around the house thinking “rut roh” it’s like a bomb hit it so I went through my morning ‘boot’ so to speak (cig, coffee, fed Bella – etc) then started on the kitchen. I’ve got the main counters cleaned off, the cabinet under the sink is straightened up and then I’ll get cracking on the island later this evening after I get some work done. The bathroom needs to be cleaned up and I’ve been trying to straighten up our bedroom for the last few days but everytime I go in there, all I want to do is lay down and go to sleep. It sucks!

I don’t like that FedEX doesn’t update their systems on the weekend. I’m trying to find out where my monitor is but since the tracking number I have isn’t even registering in the system, and knowing they more than likely ship out of Ohio,¬† it’ll probably be here tomorrow afternoon. Which would be great, I just have to spend some time tonight reorganizing my desk to be able to handle the second monitor and not look so cluttered. I’m not sure how I’m going to put them on the desk but I do know that everything that I have shifted to the one corner. I’ve got my lamp, pens, pencils, markers, koosh balls, rubics cube,¬† and other toys to fiddle with when I’m thinking and my hands won’t stop freaking moving. There’s even a glass Buddah over here but I stole that from Sean because he had the larger one and at the time my desk was A LOT smaller.

Either way it’s a lot of shit to accomplish on top of working and there just aren’t enough hours in the day thanks to these stupid meds. My tooth still hurts so I have no idea if they’re even working. I can say that my headaches have gone away, or just aren’t as heavy as they were over the past week. So maybe SOMETHINGS working, doesn’t mean I want to be sleeping during it though!

Bouncy, Bouncy, Bouncy!

Saturday, August 25th, 2007

It’s been a productive half hour, to say the least. I took Bella on her walk since Sean’s knee is acting up, I started a load of laundry, got all of the garbage taken care of and now I’m putting my credit card away because I just purchased another monitor. For a while now I’ve been looking for the same monitor I own so when I went and setup a dual monitor configuration, things would be uniform. Up until this evening, I was unable to locate this monitor. I logged onto Microcenter tonight while I was looking for a monitor for Sean and happened to come across the exact same one that I currently own. I jumped for joy, pulled out the card, had Sean search for the proper adapter and then checked out. It should be here by Wednesday, at the absolute latest.

I’ll have Sean set it up and configure it for me and then I’ll go from there. He’s in the market for a new monitor because the one I gave him is on the verge of death. I offered him the ability to use the one I just purchased for a few weeks so that he can get some money paid off on his credit cards and then go from there but he’s standing ground and refusing. It’s annoying because you can barely see anything on that monitor and he has to sit right on top of it in order to read anything, which is HORRIBLE for someone’s eyes. I’m a good three feet away from my screen and even mine hurt after a while.

Anyhow, I figured the dual-configuration would help me out. I’m always bouncing from window to window and it’s to a point now where it’s driving me bananas. So, to hold off on getting that iMac for a few months, I’ll setup the dual monitors and use the right for design work (since it will more than likely be right in front of me) and then the left for IM’s, email and other stuff. I’m just going to have to do some cleaning up because my desk is overloaded with water bottles at the moment. I should probably invest in a few gallons because these tiny 10oz bottles are going rather quickly. I just bought a 24-pack yesterday and now I’ve only got about 10 left. That’s 140oz in a day, which is about a gallon. It just hurts to drink my crystal light, even sugar free drinks are evil to my broken molar at the moment. Plain water is just about all I can stand, it sucks but it’s warming up down here and staying hydrated is just the way to go I guess.

Getting Late…

Wednesday, August 22nd, 2007

It’s a little after 1am and Sean has taken over my computer to fix a few things that, what’s looking to be, a horrible programmer setup for a site I worked on with Dick. So in order to shift the balance of the room completely, I’ve taken over Sean’s computer for a little while. It’s strange using a CRT again, I can’t believe that I used to use this damn monitor on such a regular basis, it’s HUGE in comparison to my LCD. It’s also slowly beginning to die, so now I understand why Sean typically sits on top of the thing while he’s working. It’s so damn dark, very hard to see anything going on in front of you. It’s also filthy but it’s his monitor now, he can clean it.

Once he finishes up with that task, I’m sure he’ll jump right back to this PC and get his own work done. I made him cookies tonight since there’s no real reason to pay someone you share finances with, you know? I could probably just turn around and play the Wii for a while since there’s really nothing I can do on this end anyway, there are so many windows open it’s like an instant headache. He knows exactly what he’s got going on in the clutter, someone who claims he hates it – yea right. There’s a difference between clutter and complete chaos, with how many tabs he’s got open in Firefox – he’s the latter – no question about it.

I’m done getting through all of my email, I do still have one more person to contact in regards to Hosting/Design stuff and I PROMISE I’ll get to her within the next couple of hours, depending on how long he’s working on that thing on my PC. I’m almost done with recoding the template for AGn Designs so I can at least get that up and running before the weekend. I kind of over-killed with too many widgets and WordPress add-ons so naturally I screwed myself in the launch time. I was looking at this past weekend but then I got click happy on a plugins site, and the rest is history.

I think I’ll go down my Do Follow list and see what fellow posters are up to.

MIA

Monday, August 20th, 2007

I’m way behind on many things. I just now got to the mound of email that was piling up over the last two days. I’ve been really busy getting loan based things in order but after thinking about it, while I do want to have a place of our own, we may wind up taking out a personal loan (instead of a home loan) and then going to rent an apartment. We really only need 1000sqft at the absolute largest. Naturally I want an actual HOUSE that I can call my own but at this point it’s safer to take the route we know we can afford instead of the route that throws a 30 year mortgage on our heads.

So I’m going down my check-list, making sure I know exactly where to start on things. I have a few things to process in Paypal and then I’ll get back to work on other accounts. I know Dick has been looking for me, I just responded to his email. It’s just been a difficult weekend, I don’t like dropping off the face of the earth but I’ve been working non-stop on multiple accounts for the last few months and I really just needed a break. I spent quite a bit of time sleeping this weekend. My schedule has gone back to waking up around 1pm which isn’t that great but I’m sure tonight that will change. I’ll get myself back in bed by Midnight and then get back on track. It shouldn’t be too hard for me, right?

I’m noticing quite a bit of trouble keeping on track with the software I’ve been using to organize myself. I wanted to get away from a pen and paper so for quite some time I’ve been using Active Desktop and it’s to a point now where I absolutely can not stand it. I found another alarm clock software download that I thought was pretty cool. It’s called Say the Time, and it’s a personal time management utility for Windows. It’s for those in the home computing market, mainly. It allows users to create multiple customizable alarms and reminders. You can hear the time spoken aloud, you can create a virtual sticky note and even customize the look of the task bar clock. Naturally the only option I’m really going to use is the sticky notes but that beats having them all over my monitor, you know? I’m playing around with the 30 day trial, it’s only like $25 so I may consider buying it. As of right now I’m content with it, I’ll have to use it for a little bit longer before I make that leap.

Time to get back to work.

The Daily Randomage

Tuesday, August 14th, 2007

It’s starting to warm back up here in Rehoboth. For the past few days there’s been some pretty nice weather. Saturday only made it to the mid 70’s and there was such a nice breeze that having the windows open for the day was an absolute must. It was graciously welcomed after the humidity that couldn’t even be cut with a knife last week.

I managed to get Bella into the tub on Saturday afternoon. Karen was giving Candy a bath because she has a nasty skin infection and requires the medicated shampoo twice a week to help sooth her skin. Bella, being convinced that Candy is her mother (they do kind of look alike even though they aren’t the same breed), decided that she was going to do everything she could to hop up onto the counter and get in the sink with her. Being as she’s so small, that just didn’t happen but since she made it a point to try so hard to get in there, once Karen took Candy out I wound up throwing Bella right in. So now she’s fresh and clean and thankfully I was able to accomplish that on a day that wasn’t so humid because I hate having to give her a bath on such a nasty day.

Tonight Karen has a date with someone she met last weekend, hopefully that works out well for her. They’re going up to Adriatico (sp?) which I hear is a pretty nice Italian restaurant. Sean and I are going to take our own Italian route and more than likely order a pizza so we can just relax and watch a movie tonight. I’m in no mood to do any cooking but I know that I have to throw some meatballs in the crock pot sooner or later to get the dogs taken care of.

Karen and I both get a lot of flack for feeding our dogs home-cooked food but there’s a matter of safety involved that most people don’t understand. On top of small-breed dogs being very picky eaters – with all of the recalls on pet food and human food in general it’s good to know that what I’m feeding my dog can’t potentially cause her any harm. So if I have to spend extra money on chicken and beef in order to get her to eat without having to worry about kidney failure then naturally that’s the route I’m going to have to take.

I look at it this way – how much money was spent on vet bills based on the recalls this past year? I didn’t have to shell out a dime because my dog never touched any of that food. Trust me, I’m not saying that feeding your dog REAL dog food is wrong. Some people are lucky enough to have dogs that aren’t such finicky eaters. This doesn’t work for me though, Bella won’t touch anything that’s come out of a can unless it’s canned chicken which runs for about $2 each. $0.70 dog food is great, but she doesn’t see it that way. Spending the extra money to insure that she doesn’t die of starvation (or stubbornness in her case) is the only route I can really take.

In other news, PayPerPost is back to running their $1K Tuesday. I saw the opportunity as soon as it was posted but thanks to their new capatcha system and my inability to quickly read morphed text, someone managed to get it before me. Highly unfair but congradulations to them! Their name hasn’t shown up on today’s Top Earners yet though, it was listed as a $50 post. Even if I didn’t get the $1k I’d take the $50…heh.

In any event, my lunch break is officially over. Time to get back to work!

What’s going on?

Monday, August 13th, 2007

I’m up even earlier today than I was yesterday. For some reason I crashed around 8pm last night and woke up about 4:30-5:00 this morning. It’s now about 6:30 and I’ve already accomplished all of my morning routine. I’m now getting back to work on everything I couldn’t complete yesterday.

There’s one major template to be formatted and another one that I’m still having trouble creating. I don’t know what’s bringing on this normal schedule and a lack of creativity but it’s starting to wear me out.

My eyes still haven’t adjusted though, not quite sure why either. I’ve been up more than long enough for them to work for me but even they are working against me at the moment. Not enough time, a lack of creativity, malicious cramping due to my second period this month and eyes that suck – this is going to be a great day, I can tell already.

It’s a little too early.

Sunday, August 12th, 2007

My schedule has completely changed and I’m still making an attempt at getting used to it. For the last two days I’ve been up between 7:30 and 8am It’s a lot quieter in the morning than I remember but it’s also a weekend when no one is waking up early in the morning to get themselves to work.

My only company at the moment is Princess, she likes to wonder out of the room around 7am or so, so I’ve got her setup next to me. I picked up all of Bella’s things off the floor so she couldn’t eat them, typically that’s the reason we keep a gate in front of the door when it’s open. Princess has this thing where she’ll eat any and everything, food or no food so picking up the kibble and a few bones – not a big deal.

I have a big day of work to get done today, I don’t have much going on other than that. I hit the $1800 for the month and it’s only the 12th so it’s safe to say I’ll reach my $3k goal and even exceed it at this point. That shiny new iMac and the nifty new bed will really come in handy.

Oh Crap…The bitch is back!

Saturday, August 4th, 2007

Yes, you read it correctly. The mutually disliked house-guest has returned. I’m unsure as to what time she actually showed up, I was knocked out until like 1, but that happens when you crash at 830. The house thankfully doesn’t smell like smoke but my ashtray outside was filling up. So that means she was either here for 2 hours or 10 minutes at the rate that she inhales a cig.

I’ll be keeping myself busy today in the office. I have some things to take care of with advertisers and a few templates to knock out. I might even get around to returning some comments – I’m fully aware of the fact that I was slacking for about two months on that one. My background noise at the moment is on channel 10, something about Comicon. Sean was watching everything when it was on, it’s just strange that I walked past it when I was on my way into the house. At the moment they’re talking to Stan Lee, they just asked him who his favorite superhero is; he claims he doesn’t have one, he loves them all.

They were talking about the first season of “Who wants to be a SuperHero”, this is a show I didn’t even bother watching but based on what I just saw at comicon, the winner was a character named FeedBack, I have to wonder what his superpower is exactly. I highly doubt being able to hold a conversation has anything to do with it, considering listening to him speak for 10 seconds just seemed like he was rambling on in excess.

He’s on the Wiki, there was too much BS that needed to be blockquoted and since I’m not a fan of comic books, I’ll just link you directly to his article.

In any event, time to get to work.

Is it time for bed yet?

Thursday, August 2nd, 2007

It’s about 2:15am and it’s been a pretty busy day and I’m pooped because of it. I’ve almost completed the templates for Dick, I’m just waiting on a response from him about a few things. I’ve been battling it out with my server master in regards to Ranee and I’m close to completing another template to throw up on AGN Designs because a few things need to be changed out.

Rent’s been paid, bills are all taken care of and I’m shopping for a new cellphone. T-mobile has free Razr’s for those signing up with a new 2-year contract, I’m considering getting a family plan with Sean but not sure when, at the moment. I think the only reason they’re free is because Motorola is releasing R2 soon, it’s nice and all but I like the original – not too keen on what the new one has to offer.

I’m also working on getting the information together for grants/loans and other crap for Westwood so I can get that started. I’m just too busy with shit to really be able to sit down and concentrate on that at the moment.

It’s great having a pretty heavy work-flow coming in. I’m under a new contract and have like three templates pending for just basic blog work that shouldn’t take me THAT long, I just need to schedule myself. It’s the 2nd and I still haven’t gotten around to changing calendars around.

It’s supposed to be pretty hot this week and I’m someone who absolutely hates hot weather so I may wind up spending more time inside than I’d really like. I like having the ability to go relax outside for a little while and get some fresh air. In Delaware, however, there’s something known as a “State Smell” and the running joke with residents is you can tell what county your in based on the smell in the air. So since I’m surrounded by farms it’s kind of hard to relax in the heat. And even though placement of the house is in my favor during the day, when the sun starts to set it drops down head-on with the porch and that’s an instant heat box. Just not fun at all.

In any event, I considered this my ‘break’ for the evening so I need to get back to work.

[edit] You people seriously need to spend less time coming up with bull-shit stories and more time looking into a real life. I have not been sued, threatened or even contacted by TGO in regards to anything going on with Ranee’s site being suspended. No lawyers are throwing paperwork in my face, no local police departments are telling me to shut anything down and I have not spoken to, or plan on speaking to TGO about this. The reports did not come from him and while private information has been listed on the site he hasn’t said BOO to me about it. The issue at this point is between Ranee, Me and my server master. Step away from the freaking computer and leave things alone and next time you start sending off stupid emails at least have your damn facts straight.

Working leads to vacations – right?

Monday, July 30th, 2007

I’ve been keeping myself busy on a new project with Dick, and I have to say it’s coming along pretty nicely on my end. I just need to stop second guessing myself in photo shop and start coding up everything for the base site and then converting it all for the WordPress end of it. It’s going to be an on-going project for me, then again anything with Dick seems to be an on going project. He’s just great – heh.

So, Sean and I are planning an upcoming vacation which is hard considering we’ve been watching Family Guy and we keep thinking of weird places TV shows have been based in or talk about. He’s already spoken about going to all of the Springfield’s in America, and we’re going to be looking for a Sven if St. Olaf Minnesota actually exists. I’d love to go to Seattle but I may use a couple of vouchers I’ve got and invest in a few Disney World Tickets because I’ve been itching to get down to Disney for many years now. I just don’t know where we should go in upcoming weeks. We were considering a few nights up in Atlantic City because each of us have free nights pending that we could cash in on. I figured we can do two nights at one hotel and two at another – it’s just a matter of money though. Who knows.

I’m sure we’ll figure things out.
