I like coming across new and interesting things, tonight I just happened to have found a charity that accepts Car Donations.
Car Angel receives car, boat and home donations to help those who are in need, or at risk. Their outreach center in Queen Creek, Arizona is helping young men on the streets and in prisons to get back on track with their lives. Those going to the outreach center directly are in a one year of Bible School and Ministry Training program. They are also going through multiple daily training services where boys leaving a life of drug and alcohol are tought new life skills. The boys in this program run three miles, six days a week and attend high school as well as bible school. Two boys listed on the site now have straight A’s and B’s because they’re living a life that’s more structured than it was before. One of them lived in a horrible neighborhood and I assume he was dealing with drugs, gangs and what not and this program helped him to step back and look at his life to then make the changes he needed to survive his neighborhood and get back on track with his life. He’s a straight A student now and claims to have accomplished more in six months than he had in 16 years because of this program.
I guess it’s worth checking out.
I see the CarAngel auctions on eBay all the time. They take boats, RVs, you name it.

I removed the pink on the active hover, but note that the reason it WAS pink was based on the fact that your mouse was there. No big deal though, it’s taken care of either way. Hopefully the gray is easier for everyone now.
