Time for the weekly installment of 3x Thursday.
1. As an adult, do you feel the same about holiday’s off from work versus the way you felt when you got them off for school? How so/how not? Everyone loves a day off but when you get older it can really just be annoying to even deal with the holidays. When you were younger you didn’t have to worry about pulling in some extra overtime just so you could get that check in time to buy all of the last minute gifts. Now, that’s what most in the working class tend to do, they go overboard and pay for it later. I seriously believe Christmas was what manufactured the world of credit cards.
2. What about birthdays? Do you view them differently now as you get older? Why/why not? I don’t care too much about birthdays. For me it’s just adding another year and closing another chapter, honestly.
3. New releases: Remember how psyched you were when you heard that your favorite band was coming out with a new album on a certain date? Do you still feel that same kind of excitement now? Why/why not? I don’t listen to music the same way now as I did back then. There’s too much going on around me where music can only get in the way.
