When I come across interesting things, I like to share them. I found one today, however, that’s both interesting and strange: Ayurveda NJ.

According to it’s description – Ayurveda means “Science of Life”, a mind/body science. It’s a complete system of restoring and maintaining a harmonious mind/body/spirit connection. It’s function is to balance all physical, emotional, and mental systems leading to self-healing and self realization. It teaches that human physical systems are directly connected with emotional and mental systems.

It goes on from there. To me, at first, this basically sounded like a cross between meditation and some form of Scientology. Once I got into the site, however, I found that it was a rejuvenation spa, total body wellness and skincare center. They have healing bodywork, unique massage therapies and facial therapies. They include herbal/nutritional supplements and there are even some articles and press about it’s founder, Indrani Maity.

It’s pretty easy to navigate through the site, though there are a few changes that I would personally make from a business standpoint, but I’m sure the owner is content with where it is so I’ll leave that alone. This site teaches you about everything you’d want to know about natural healing. Their goal is to empower and educate individuals. They want you to become you’re own healer and your own doctor, through practice of self-awareness and self-knowledge.

I think it’s a fairly interesting idea considering how expensive it can be to stay on top of your health. If you fully understand everything about your own body then you’d know for sure when something isn’t right without having to make a visit to your local doctor for something as small as a pimple.
