Okay, so it took me a little longer than I would have wanted it to but I’ve finally got some pictures of the new laptop to show off. I never got around to unplugging the USB chord from the desktop until this afternoon so here they are.
I’m extremely happy with it. I’ve had it with me everywhere I go. From being with Alicia doing the security stuff, to just relaxing outside while I was tanning, the whole nine-yards. My only complaint, and yes I can have one considering I spent $1200 on this thing; I’m not used to the resolution yet. I’m used to easily being able to resize things to 320×240. That, however, is when I’m running on 1024×768. Since I’m on 1280×800 now, the resize doesn’t go down to that resolution. I’m sure I’ll get used to it over time though, that’s all that matters. A huge thank you to Heather for telling me how to “Print Screen” because I couldn’t figure that out for the life of me. I’m glad I know how to do it now though considering I have to do it at least 6 times a day for certain clients LOL.
In any event, I’m gonna head off. It’s a very hot day outside so I’m enjoying my air conditioning. I’m putting a DVD in and just relaxing for a little while.
Later all!
Oooh it’s nice. I love the wallpaper you have on it, it’s so pretty.
Ooh I love the new toy. I’m glad you do too. It will take some time getting used too I know that…but deep down I’m sure you’ll be able to pull it off. Glad you’re having fun with it. And I’m sorry to hear you had to put your pet to sleep. It is always hard to lose someone you really love.I agree with you on that.
Oh awesome! I’m so happy it finally came! You must be so excited!! Your desktop is cool.
I’m so very jealous. I want one. *whines*
It’s lovely. I love that you took a picture of the truck.
Krissy: I asked the delivery man if I could take one of him handing me the box but he just wasn’t interested. :sigh:
Yes, widescreen resolutions are hard to get used too. Atleast it was for me. Especially when it comes down to actually designing on them. But its great for watching movies.
Krissy: Designing is easy. Taking screen shots is the only reasolution issue I’ve had.
Your laptop is very sexy Krissy. He would have been proud.
Krissy: Mhrmm..I’m sure he would.
PUPPY!
Sorry, I do that everytime I see a dog.
And a very nice laptop. If I wasn’t so cheap, I’d get myself one.
Ooh nice. I like the shot of the FedEx van. hehe
Photo posts are fun 🙂 ♥
wow that is a hawt toy you have there. now if only i could get one too xD
I love it “NEW TOY” and Bella’s in there. F’n camera hog!
Very nice toy. I’m trying to save for a new computer but it alway seems something else comes up. 🙂
Krissy: It was the same way for me for the last few years. Thankfully I’ve got everything squared away now.
yay for laptops. i have a hard time designing new layouts for my website so i end up going back and forth from the desktop to the laptop. i get tired after awhile with my little marathon. isn’t lounging just anywhere with it fun? are you going to attempt the mickey d’s thing anytime soon or surf at starbuck’s?
Krissy: Designing is fairly easy, the only difference is color quality because I have a high-res monitor for my desktop so that’s all I’m really getting used to at the moment. It’s working out ok though. Again, it’s just resizing screen shots that’s annoying. I’m enjoying moving around though, it’s nice. And no, I’m not looking into any food/drink service. It’s more of a been there done that kind of a thing. I’m actually updating my resume right now, I’m going to call up that security place sometime this week and apply there.
lol… no i meant using THEIR wireless service to surf the web from your laptop, silly head.
Krissy: OH! LOL, sorry I thought you were talking about jobs haha. No, I haven’t made the attempt but that’s because those places are uninteresting to me. I hate Starbucks’ coffee and McDonalds can eat my ass haha. I doubt I’d ever be stuck near one long enough to try anyway.
Ooooh!! Bella!
Anyway, I love. Love. Love. That wallpaper. You made it?
I need a new toy. I wish my hosting stuff can take off so I can get a new toy.
Krissy: Mine came through design based business, not hosting. Right now I’m only making enough with hosting to pick up the tab with maybe $150 a month or so to spare.
